Slip your campaign into your pocket and take it wherever you might need it.

Pocket Campaign is a GM's tool designed to streamline the essence of your tabletop campaign, whether it be D&D or any other system, into easily manageable decks and cards. Each card can represent a character, location, plot hook, or any other element you can conceive. Simply assign a name to your card, attach a visually appealing image, and include descriptive notes.

Organization:

• Cards are initially organized into decks, which serve as containers for your campaign components.
• They can be further categorized using tags to provide general descriptors such as "Village" or "NPC".
• Each card features both names and identifiers (e.g., armorer) for quick retrieval in the card list.
• Cards can automatically link to one another if they reference another card's name in their notes or descriptions, fostering seamless connections or even constructing adventure paths.

Versatility:

The application includes a default character generator tailored to a fantasy theme (Dungeons & Dragons), but this can be easily customized with JavaScript according to specific requirements. The tool is adaptable for managing scenarios ranging from wild-western frontiers to outer space adventures. It transcends any specific gaming genre and could potentially find utility beyond tabletop RPGs.

Sharing:

• Decks and cards are shareable and importable among users.
• Exports can be password-protected, with the option to erase confidential notes upon import if the correct password isn't provided. This feature allows game masters to keep players informed about their world without revealing sensitive information.

Character Generator:

The platform establishes a public folder structure where you can store a variety of character portraits. The tool autonomously scans this repository to select a suitable image for your generated character.

If the default generator doesn't meet your preferences, you have the flexibility to craft a straightforward JavaScript script in plain text and import it. Guidelines for this process are available in the generator's directory, facilitating the generation of characters for any thematic backdrop you desire.

I created this application to address a gap I identified in my organizational toolkit. It represents a labor of love, and I trust it will find favor with those seeking enhanced campaign management.
